Domus Academica

Domus Academica is a student house with tradition. It is situated in the heart of Helsinki, in Kamppi. The real estate is owned by the Student Union of the University of Helsinki. The apartments are rented by HOAS.

All degree students of the University of Helsinki are eligible for living in Domus. Priority is given to students starting their studies and come from outside the Helsinki region. The student house has both shared and family apartments. Housing is provided for approx. 300 students.

The apartments are rented by HOAS, The Foundation for the Student Housing in Helsinki Region. A HOAS office is located close to Domus Academica.

All students enrolled in the University of Helsinki are members of the Student Union. The Student Union is a public corporation with an aim to represent its members and look after their interests in various academic and social issues.
